BORMIOLI LUIGI PROTAGONIST OF HOST WITH HIS NEWS DEDICATED TO THE MIXOLOGY SECTOR

The leading Made in Italy glass company presents new collections for cocktail preparation and service between technology and craftsmanship.

Parma, Oct. 5, 2023 - Bormioli Luigi renews its presence at Host, the event dedicated to hospitality and foodservice scheduled at Rho Fiera Milano from Oct. 13 to 17. Like every year, this latest event proves to be an exclusive meeting place between leading manufacturing companies and buyers from the world's best-known restaurant chains. For this reason, it is the perfect opportunity for the Emilia-based company, a leader in the glass sector, to preview the variety of its offer with a selection of new creations for the preparation and service of cocktails.

The event, now in its 43rd edition, will be the debut showcase for four new collections: these are Backdoor '20s and Gin&Tonic, branded Accademia Luigi Bormioli, and Exclusiva and Bartender Moscow Mule, Mojito and Julep branded Bormioli Rocco. For both brands, extensions of successful lines already in the catalog are, in addition, planned.

Backdoor '20s “The Signature Cocktail Glass”: the timeless appeal of 1920s America.
In the Backdoor '20s Accademia Luigi Bormioli collection, the timeless glamour of American clubs where jazz was heard lives again exclusively in the ultra-thin rim glasses designed to enhance the taste impact of cocktails. Made using a new production technology, inspired by artisanal techniques, SON.hyx Superior Sonorous Glass stemware creates beautiful lighting effects while maintaining the color of each drink. The design is distinguished by its uniqueness and contemporaneity and comes in six different models named after unforgettable cocktails.

Gin & Tonic “Gin Specific Collection”: to each Gin the appropriate stemware
Dedicated to the world's most popular drink, the Gin & Tonic collection, branded Accademia Luigi Bormioli, allows each type of Gin to be matched with the most suitable stemware: the series consists of six stemware like the number of types of Gin classified in the world of spirits.

Exclusiva “Longer Service Life Barware”: a mix of technical and aesthetic features.
Fall news also on the front of Bormioli Rocco's collections, which enriches the catalog with Exclusiva, one of the most interesting lines thanks to its technical as well as aesthetic features: in fact, it consists of stemware with maximum stem strength and glasses subjected to the new patented Secure Edge thermal hardening process, which reveal an impact resistance twice as high as untreated edges. The optical effect given by the facets makes the glass shine, enhancing the colors of each drink.

Bartender “Iced Cocktail Specific”: functionality at the service of signature cocktails
Great emphasis was also placed on Bormioli Rocco's new Bartender collection: a proposal dedicated to signature cocktails that meets and satisfies the most demanding professional standards. Combining functionality, practicality, resistance to use and beauty Bartender is the perfect solution for those in search of the most sought-after tools.
It is available in three references: Moscow mule, designed not only for the world-famous cocktail, but also suitable for serving beer and non-alcoholic cocktails, the so-called mocktails; Julep, a glass named after the family of cocktails made with crushed ice and mint leaves; this model also lends itself to be decorated and personalized; and finally the Mojito, the ideal glass for the cocktail of Cuban origin among the most consumed in the world.
